Wedding in the Desert

Magenta and grey were the colors that bride and groom –Carlos and Dariela– chose; two colors that harmoniously contrasted with the location: a magical place in the middle of the desert, with a sea view.

In this wedding, my favorite corner was the area that I designed for guests to leave a message for the bride and groom. I placed a wooden table and on it, a typewriter, sheets of paper, paint and pebbles for each person to decide how to use such materials and what to tell them.

This was an event packed with details! As a welcome, I used a sign and rustic wooden boxes with orchids and gypsophila; for the reception, I combined round, square and rectangular tables, and different styles of chairs. Hanging from each of them, there was one present for the ladies: pashmina scarvesin different shades of gray, ideal for an afternoon wedding in Cabo. The best detail on each table was artisan-made Pitaya marmalade for all the guests.

The most emotional moment was the first song they danced, a song that a friend of the bride had composed.

The special touch was the place: it was where her father grew up, and he himself built that area for his daughter to get married there.

Thank you Carlos and Dariela for trusting on our excellent team to plan your wedding!
