Joe and Michelle’s rehearsal dinner was held al fresco in an enchanted courtyard overlooking the ocean. Long tables were set in the garden and under a rustic wooden pergola embellished with red tulips and greenery.
The bride and groom welcomed guests in the courtyard with petite Coronas while a Spanish guitar played in the background.
The dramatic décor for this evening featured vibrant reds and golds with black accents that included anemone, tulip and rose centerpieces. Gold trimmed chargers added sparkle to the table setting and matched the thank you notes.
Guests were treated to a menu featuring traditional Mexican specialties. The evening’s ‘pièce de résistance’ was a ‘carreta’ (a traditional wood wagon) decorated with colorful hand-made paper flowers used to serve an assortment of tortilla chips, salsas and guacamole.
Light wood benches with pale grey cushions and low tables set with deep red floral centerpieces provided the ideal setting for guests to lounge by the outdoor fireplace under the glory of star-lit Baja sky.
The evening ended on an emotive note following toasts from bridesmaids and close friends. The perfect prelude to a romantic wedding.
