Romina and Pepe’s love of Mexico and Mexican ocean lead them from coast to coast; from world famous Acapulco beaches, to Baja’s beautiful desert coastline with unforgettable sunsets in La Paz.
For their wedding ceremony we decided for a beautiful site at the Costa Baja Beach Club, and reception location was at the nearby lawn. Both locations had a stunning backdrop of the calm and blue Sea of Cortez, which at sunset turned into a painting-like landscape, which none of the wedding guests will ever forget.
Romina and Pepe’s wedding ceremony decor was colored in natural and white; with wooden chuppah, Josefina & French vintage chairs, lush greens and tropical flowers, hanging glass balls, and unique macrame hand knitted especially for the couple.
For the wedding reception area, we continued with the color theme in natural and white, with a French vintage flair. For seating we created an eclectic mix of wooden and urban chairs, added unique macrame runners and votive candle holders. We used lanterns as centerpieces, added frames table numbers, and beautiful florals. For flower decor we worked with Arete Floral and they helped us complete the vintage wedding look with protea flowers, roses, astilbe, wreath and amnesia roses.
We playfully added vintage letters with twine and gold candle holders, napkins, linens, and little jars for the flowers on the tables.
For the after dinner party and dancing, we designed the bar and the area, as well as created the concept of the dance floor area and illumination for the party that lasted long into the night. Romina and Pepe’s wedding day was beautiful and unforgettable. It was the pleasure of the entire Event Design by Marianna Idirin team to be part of their big day. We wish the happy couple much love and happiness today and always!
