As regards fabrics: natural fibers (linen if possible), combined with flowered and striped prints in different tones of pink and a touch of dry green. This would create a soft contrast while keeping harmony. For example: the runner´s pattern could match a cushion, while another cushion is combined with the cover of a chair.
I love mixing styles while choosing chairs, such as avant gards rustic; wooden and retro and the iron chairs in ivory. I like playing with different cushions in order to get warmth in the set up and use a striped cover for those placed at the head of the table – The perfect elegant touch!
Centerpieces and details! The flowers would be roses, in different tones from purple to pale pink and ivory, blended with eucalyptus and foliage, on vintage ceramic bases.
Mix of votives with lace and mercury ones combined with the flowers, look absolutely exquisite! I would place some votives on the tables, and others hanging from the ceiling with candles inside, to complement the romantic and vintage concept.
Patinated wooden frames for the table numbers would be the final touch for a cozy event!
The crockery should be vintage as well, but elegant. I love those embossed plates with irregular edges and, of course, gold-edged wine glasses! (Keep in mind that it is very important that all the décor details integrate and combine with the fabrics you have chosen)
