When Jennifer Stierwalt came to Marianna she had a vision. She expressed her dream of a white wedding, infused with Spanish tradition and style. Marianna took that vision and ran with it. Choosing Rancho Las Cruces for the event was easy, Eric's parents had renewed their vows there years prior and fell in love with the location. How could you not, palm and cactus lined hills, quaint accommodations, perfect service and an onsite mystical church perfect for the union of two souls. The translation of Rancho Las Cruces is actually Ranch of Crosses, as you will see in the beautiful photos below, taken by the amazing Jillian Mitchell. There were many special moments created and captured during this three-day event. One of the most symbolic moments shared was when Jennifer and Eric announced their vows in front of their family and friends, Jennifer had soil from Mount Madonna symbolizing that she is grounded and Eric had water because of his love for the ocean and easy going nature, and together they planted a single seed. They stated their belief that together, they could grow something amazing, as to whole parts unifying on one path of growth. This being the ultimate goal of love. As the ceremony wrapped up a decorated horse awaited the newlyweds. As they pass around maracas, sombreros, margaritas and cervasas to their guests a procession was formed following the newlyweds to the next location. A traditional Spanish guitarist serenaded as they lead their parade of loved ones to their reception. As the celebration continued there was love and laughter in the air. Speeches were shared, kisses were embraced and dancing was encouraged. As the evening concluded fireworks were set off in toast and celebration to the new couple. Congratulations Jennifer and Eric!! It was a pleasure bringing your event to life. May your love run deep and grow forever more.
