During the summer I organized my nephew’s –Dominique- baptism, in a Hacienda in Guanajuato. The place was absolutely stunning: an old building made of stone… the perfect scenery for a magic party.
My idea was to include organic, natural and green elements. As centerpieces I used a mix of ceramic and vintage bases in white and light turquoise with different kinds of greeneries and white flowers -I loved it because it matched perfectly with the colors chosen for the invite. I also placed huge metal bases filled with fern and other plants, in other areas of the Hacienda.
As souvenirs for the attendees, we offered plants (mint, oregano, etc.) in pots made by artisans of the region along with lavender soup from the Sierra de Dolores de Hidalgo and I placed them on beautiful benches…
I chose squared tables and embossed ceramic, which I combined with Versailles chairs and my new white wooden benches with my M sign! (I was so happy to show them for the first time at this event!)
The kids´ area was the success of the event: a small farm with real animals! They played all day long and had a blast!
