The view at a Los Cabos private beach club dazzled Alberto and April. Once they took in the sweeping vista of the Sea of Cortez, they knew they had found the perfect location for their trendy nightclub-themed wedding.
A seamless mix of chic glamour and relaxed cool, created a memorable setting that reflected the bride’s and groom’s styles and those of their one hundred and fifty guests. Elegant white draping over lightwood was the ideal compliment to the oceanfront chuppah embellished with a sparkling crystal chandelier and petite roses. Guests sat in rows of white Chiavari chairs while the band Saga Strings played. After the traditional Jewish ceremony, guests were offered a selection of popsicles served from a charming traditional cart. Cucumber, mint & lime, strawberry and mango with and without alcohol - a refreshing summer treat.
Dinner was served at a combination of square and rectangular tables with upholstered lounge seats, stools, Ghost and Milan chairs set on a custom-made multi-leveled white teak platform. An exquisite palette of ivory and blush accents, the bride’s choice, created a soft and romantic atmosphere throughout.
The tables were set with crystal chargers on blush fringed table runners with glass, ceramic and pewter vases filled with an exquisite assortment of roses, orchids, tulips and hydrangeas softly lit by mercury glass votives. The dinning-area was anchored by the bride’s and groom’s beautiful rectangular custom-designed mirror topped table set on a raised platform. A classic button-tufted sofa added chic vintage appeal.
Guests dined on a lifestyle menu by renowned Chef Casiano that included a delicious selection of salads, pastas, fish and seafood prepared by chefs in attendance. Bartenders served Cosmos, Lychee, Dirty and Watermelon Martinis from two stylish white wood bars flanked by white flowing fabric lit by elegant crystal chandeliers. The bars enhanced the evening’s atmosphere by adding a luminous contrast to the venue, similar to the bars in trendy nightclubs.
Following dinner a desert table that included fun snacks like popcorn and potato chips with Valentina sauce as well as the newlyweds’ favorite cake was set in the lounge. Guests mingled while lounging in the hip setting of upholstered ivory tufted sofas, settees and stools and blush colored velvet cushions set around low mirrored-tables topped with flowers and votives. Premium labels such as Grey Goose Vodka and Johnnie Walker Black Label
Whiskey were set on trays and served from elegant crystal decanters.
The contemporary design of the dance floor complimented the eclectic and fashionable lounge design. Mexico City’s DJ César Álvarez, a celebrity-favorite, was set on a stage flanked by giant screens that projected images choreographed to the music. As the music began, guests were treated to a spectacular fireworks display over the water to Coldplay’s A Sky Full of Stars. The breathtaking display was as beautiful as the wedding celebration. Late into the night and in true Mexican-fiesta style, guests were thrilled by the selection of shots served including Kamikaze, Baby Mango, Boligoma and Don Julio 70.
The couple, their family and friends danced the night away on the beach under the Cabo stars and until sunrise. An ideal start to their marriage and their life together.
